Questions & answers

The basics

How does it work?

Paste a link, choose MP3 or MP4, and download the result. Everything happens in your browser tab — there is nothing to install and no extension to add.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, so nothing you convert is attached to a profile or kept in a history.

What does it cost?

Nothing. There is no daily cap, no queue to skip and no paid tier — the site is funded by the ads you see on it.

Will it work on my phone?

Yes. It runs in any modern mobile browser on Android and iOS, exactly as it does on a desktop.

Formats and quality

Which formats can I get?

MP3 for audio and MP4 for video. Pick the one you want before converting.

How good is the quality?

Audio goes up to 320 kbps, and video up to 2160p where the source allows it. Lower options are listed alongside, so you can trade quality for a smaller file.

Why did I get a lower quality than I picked?

Converting cannot add detail that was never uploaded. If the original is only available at 480p or a modest bitrate, that is the ceiling for the copy you receive.

Doing more with it

Can I keep only part of a track?

Yes. Set a start and end point before downloading and you will get just that section — handy for a single verse, an intro, or a sample.

Can I paste a playlist link?

Yes. The tracks are listed for you to convert individually rather than being merged, so you end up with one clean file per item.

When things go wrong

The download stalled or failed.

Usually a busy server or a temporary limit at the source. Waiting a moment and starting it again clears it up most of the time; a different quality option is worth trying too.

What am I allowed to convert?

Material you own, material in the public domain, or anything the rights holder has cleared you to copy. Checking that is on you, and the terms page spells out the rest.
